For me Thanksgiving tends to usually run by with out much excitement. This Turkey break was very different. Lots of things happened on the day of Thanksgiving, but mostly we did some errands and had a memorable dinner. We had asian turkey, chicken, and a whole lot of other delicious asian dishes. My mom is so amazing cooking all the food for the 15 people that showed up that night. Hiroko joined me this year which made me really happy. That night we grabbed a quick 30 minute nap and headed out to Cabazon Outlet to catch some good Black Friday deals. When we got there there was a good two miles of queue just to exit. Lucky me I decided to take the exit after and take side streets to the shopping area. This saved me an hour and a half of waiting. How do i know an hour and a half? Well my brother left that much before me and we literally parked at the same time and met each other. Well to follow the trend of waiting in line, there were lines into the stores and to check out.. lots of waiting. We were planning to get done and out with in two hours, but that didn't happen. We got some clothes, mostly for Christmas gifts, and something else a bit more special. clue: very thin cylinder with a point that reflects light very well. We returned home around 6am and fell asleep nearly instantaneously. Woke up.. drove down to San Diego and hung out with Ernest. We ate dinner at this nice Japanese place called Tajima in Claremont, SD. We then grabbed some yogurt and went for a round at miniature golf. I would like to say that I played like an up and coming chinese Tiger Woods, but that would be more than lying. Earnest was the hotshot of the night doing a hole-in-one on one of the hardest course. Hiroko was nearly just as amazing. We woke up today and went climbing at Mt Woodson. Ernest did very well.. Hiroko climbed like a champ.. all in all it was a great day. All pictures are of climbing because I didn't have time to charge my new Canon SD750 until yesterday night.

I'm sitting in stats class learning ANOVAs .. This is RIDICULOUS!!!.. .. All my roommates have left on vacation.. most of the school is gone.. we can tell that no one else has used this class for the whole day. Why are we here learning ANOVAs. I kinda lost it already. The funny thing is that ANOVAs are so long and complicated it should be dubbed the tree killer, because the amount of papers we will need to finish this problem.

Its been a while since anything eventful has happened to me. This is why i decided i must do something eventful. Yesterday started off with a hike. Bridge to Nowhere was the destination. Though it was a nice day to hike I did not like it much, because i just don't like to hike and walk. All I can think about during the hike was the event that follows, Derby Dolls. Derby Dolls is an all female roller derby league. If you don't know what derby dolls are you must visit their site at www.derbydolls.com. This sport was more exciting, and fun, then I thought it was going to be. Imagine ... skates, skirts, and scars, the excitement of a full contact sport, the speed of roller skates, and planning of football. And yes, there are rules. You might think its just for guys who want to fancy some girls with short skirts on rollers but your very wrong, it is actually a real sport that is breathtaking to watch full of intricacies and strategy. I encourage all to go and watch. Unfortunately they prohibited cameras at this event so I wasn't able to take any pictures. However I'll be getting some pictures from my friends a bit later. I will however put up a video that has clips of what roller derby is like.
